Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 22 year old male driver from Fairless Hills, PA for possession of drug paraphernalia. THEFT – 400 block of Honeysuckle Ct. reported at 4:10PM. Complainant reports that unknown person(s) removed recycle bin. Total value $20.00. 2/13/2012 RETAIL THEFT - 1600 block of Big Oak Rd at Wine & Spirits reported at 2:06PM. Complainant reports that on 2/10, a white male entered the store and concealed a bottle of alcohol under his sweatshirt. The male then paid for another bottle of alcohol and left the store without paying for the concealed item. A license plate check was initiated. Loss Prevention detained an 19 year old female from Levittown, PA for taking $44.00 worth of merchandise without paying. She was taken into custody by police. 2/10/2012 THEFT ARREST – 800 block of Queens Dr. reported at 9:47AM. Complainant reported theft of a camera bag from the front lawn and observed a pick-up truck driving away from the scene. Police stopped the pick-up truck and further investigation led to the arrest of the 50 year old male driver from Yardley, PA for theft and receiving stolen property. BURGLARY - Unit block of Crown Terrace reported at 11:41AM. Complainant reports that sometime between 1/22-2/10, unknown person(s) forced entry through a rear window and removed a bottle of vodka and a gold bracelet. 2/9/2012 DUI ARREST – 300 block of Oxford Valley Rd. reported at 1:36AM. Loss Prevention detained a 56 year old female for taking $57.70 worth of merchandise without paying. She was taken into custody by police. 2/5/2012 ACCIDENT & DUI ARREST – Unit block of W. School Ln. reported at 12:17AM. Police responded to the report of a hit and run accident. Police were able to trace the license plate to a residence on S. Crescent Blvd. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 19 year old male driver from Yardley, PA for driving under the influence, underage drinking and leaving the scene of an accident. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 43 year old male driver from Philadelphia, PA for counterfeit inspections stickers and driving with a suspended license. A records check indicated that the male was wanted out of Lackawanna County. He was taken into custody, processed, arraigned and sent to BCP on $10,000 bail. Complainant reports that sometime between 1/20-1/22, unknown person(s) forced entry via a kitchen window and removed a jewelry box with assorted jewelry. Loss Prevention detained a 14 year old female juvenile from Philadelphia, PA and a 20 year old female from Philadelphia, PA for taking approximately $50.00 worth of merchandise without paying. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 50 year old male driver from Trenton, NJ for driving under the influence. Further investigation led to the discovery of unopened containers of alcohol. The 19 year old male driver from Yardley, PA was cited for possession of alcohol. 1/4/2012 BURGLARY – 300 block of W. Ferry Rd. reported at 3:09PM. Complainant reports that sometime between 12/27/11-1/4/12, unknown person(s) forced entry into the home via a storm door and removed approximately $1,300 worth of jewelry. DRUG ARREST & WANTED PERSON S – 1100 block of Edgewood Rd. reported at 1:46AM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 23 year old male passenger from Newportville, PA for possession of a controlled substance. He was also wanted on a felony warrant out of Bristol Township. He was taken into custody, arraigned and sent to BCP on $25,000 bond. The male driver (no age given) from Croyden, PA was wanted on a warrant out of Philadelphia, PA. He was transported to the custody of the Philadelphia Police Department. DRUG ARREST – 500 block of W. Complainant reports that sometime between 12/21/11-1/3/12, unknown person(s) removed approximately $37,755.00 worth of jewelry and clothing from the residence. RETAIL THEFT – 600 block of Heacock Rd. at the Wine & Spirits Shoppe reported at 2:21PM. Complainant reports that an unknown male removed a bottle of champagne valued at $139 without paying. 1/2/2012 THEFT – 1900 block of Makefield Rd. reported at 5:15PM. Complainant reports theft of a Haro BMX bicycle valued at $400 sometime within the past week. ACCIDENT & DUI ARREST – Rt. 1 & Oxford Valley Rd. reported at 10:03PM. Police responded to a call for a traffic accident with one vehicle fully engulfed in fire. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 31 year old male driver of the striking vehicle, from Newtown, PA, for driving under the influence. 1/1/2012 DUI ARREST - Oxford Valley Rd. & Rt. 1 reported at 1:01AM. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 22 year old male driver from Yardley, PA for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. It was also discovered that a 20 year old male from Yardley, PA who was in the residence where the vehicle was stopped was wanted on a bench warrant out of Bucks County. He was taken into police custody.
